Once sold out, will you be restocking?
It depends on what style. The one-of-a-kind pieces – the ones upcycled from second hand clothes – can't be identically re-produced, so when they are sold out, you can't shop them again. But don't worry, the same pattern might come back in another color, print or, fabric.
If a style made of regular fabric says SOLD OUT online, but you want to purchase it, just contact us and we will will order more fabric to make it for you.
What happens when I shop a made-to-order item?
To avoid overproduction, some pieces are only made-to-order. Once you place an order, the piece will be handcrafted in our Atelier and shipped within 1 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity of the style.
What happens if I don't see my size?
As a small independent brand, Flore de Sermet is still working on developing sizes. Feel free to send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or use the Contact page of this website to ask questions regarding sizing and garment details.
The pieces that are made-to-order are available in a wide range of sizes. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have doubts or questions regarding garment fit!
Where do Flore de Sermet's materials come from?
Each fabric was hand picked in places the designer has traveled to, such as her hometown in Southern France, Paris or Berlin. She also selects second-hand clothes and gives them a new life by merging them with new materials to design her garments. The choice to include vintage items stems from ethical and aesthetic concerns.
Denim comes from second hand jeans sourced at a flea market in Brussels. They are unpicked to save as much material as possible.
Jersey fabric scraps are used to make scrunchies or accessories. To save fabric leftovers from landfill, some are sent to the sustainable intimates brand Saqua Studio that uses it for their production.
